Hallelujah because I have finally solved the problem of the sideways pictures on my blog! so FINALLY, you will only see pictures the right way up even on your iPhone. I can’t even explain how happy I am!
Today’s look is feminine with a touch of boyish-ness that I so love! I’ve been all about loafers, smoking slippers and espadrilles this summer, so when I came across this cute pair of shoes at Tory I was sold! They’re a tomboy shape with a girly edge because of the color. However, this whole look was built around the bag- this gorgeous Valentino cross body that I borrowed from my cousin.
The denim trend has been going strong now for almost 3 years- so I pulled out an old Abercrombie button down and paired it with this white skirt!
Since this shirt has low cut arm holes, I wore a bright blue bandeau so that it would pop under the light blue top. Now lets talk about this Red Valentino- is it not just gorgeous?! I wasn’t a big cross body bag girl until I borrowed this bag from my cousin- now I can’t wait to get my hands on the right one!
Sorry about how bright this picture came out- But I still wanted to share an action shot!

So here it is- my very first full jumpsuit. I’ve always wanted one, but could never find one that actually fit lengthwise. My sister was here visiting in June and was all about jumpers/rompers etc., and seeing her in them inspired me to actually find one that worked for me! When I came across this one in Fabri’k I was ecstatic because it looked like the length would fit me! However, let me tell you…I am not a floral girl at all, and that was the one part that made me unsure about this romper. Styling it with minimalistic shoes and a bright bag made it wearable for me, and I now love this look!
This jumpsuit has tiny yellow/green/white flowers, so I played with the yellow and added this bag
Bag: Celine “sun yellow” phantom
Bracelets: Kate Spade NY
I was invited to a fun blogger beauty event at The Avalon a few weeks ago, and just had to share my experience with you! The event was by The Cosmetic Market (full service beauty bar with high end makeup retailers within), and they promised champagne- this obviously meant a good time.
From the second I walked in, I could see and feel a stir and buzz in the air, and I loved that! Champagne, white wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and cheese greeted you at the door, and thereafter you could walk around and get acquainted. Various different stations had been set up with complimentary sessions of brow waxing, hair styling, hand exfoliation, and of course, makeup application.
I chose to try out the hand exfoliation as well as hair styling. Mario from Mario’s Hair Designers gave me a lioness do’ and I have to say I’m obsessed. Stay tuned for a blog post in which he will do my hair again for all of you! My friend Natasha from Toto’s Life and Style accompanied me, and we had so much fun! Besides all of the above things I have mentioned, The Cosmetic Market also does facials. All of this while you shop for your favorite beauty products in one place! This is such a cool and novel concept, be sure to check it out in Johns Creek, GA!
Before getting my hair done!
The final product!
Bloggers never travel without their cameras- and therefore, there are always a ton of pictures to be taken!
Kourtney Kardashian definitely inspired me to buy my first pair of knee high gladiators last year- guilty! However, even after having them for so long, I finally pulled them out for the first time just just a few days ago! After buying them, I started feeling a little too dominatrix-y for my liking, so until I figured out how to style them, I wasn’t comfortable wearing them out in public. I decided to go with a peach shift dress and black/gold accessories to style the gladiators, and I loved the look!
I wanted to match the gold hardware on my handbag, so I chose trendy gold jewelry
