I came across this super casual jumpsuit on Rue La La and when I saw it, I jumped on it. I love the fact that its so simple and easy that it just makes for a perfect day outfit. That coupled with the fact that I still got so many compliments on it when I was running errands made me love how for once, comfort and fashion blended together for me. While running errands I had on a pair of simple Tory Burch sandals- but I jazzed it up a bit with these red Joie heels for a little more sass.
This jumpsuit has so many details that my others dont- a cinched waist with a tie band, along with it being the same way on the calves
The loose fit makes it easy to wear on a daily basis while doing normal things!
A large every day tote bag makes it the perfect outfit to run around town in
This red beaded statement necklace is one of my favorites! Red always looks good against my skin tone, and with the red shoes, this was perfection!
These red Joie heels are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn!
A bold pattern top to bottom makes it easy to not have to wear too many other pieces, and keep eyes on this one piece

So I just recently finished reading Grey, the story of 50 Shades of Grey from the perspective of Christian himself. So when I was looking at my pictures for this post, I couldn’t even think of a title- I just kept thinking Grey. So pardon my boring title, and read Grey.
Remember when I mentioned over the summer that I was dying to find myself a few jumpsuits but it was very hard? Well, that problem is now over because I found so many! This beauty was picked up at AX on sale, and it fits so well that I didn’t even have to alter it. Its color makes it perfect for an evening out!
I’ve always loved shades of grey on my skin, and this one is no different! It would also really suit olive skin tones
I really loved my last Roxbox. This necklace and cuff are totally my style! Remember, code makeupbymeghaxoxo will give you your first month of Rocksbox free! Check out my previous post to see just what this jewelry subscription is about!
Because the entire outfit is one color, I had to add a pop of color with my shoes! And I have to say, these beauties by Joie are so comfortable!
My studded Jimmy Choo clutch added a little bit of a rocker effect which I always love!

– Shoes: Joie (bought on Rue La La on sale)
– Necklace: Rocksbox
– Clutch: Jimmy Choo (bought on Rue La La on sale)

If there’s one trend in fashion I love, its monochromatism. Wearing similar shades of the same color gives a very soft appearance, while still making an impact. Below is one of my favorite looks from this summer- white jeans just never get old for me! Also, I just subscribed to Rocksbox, and now receive numerous pieces of jewelry per month for $19/month! This is a members only website where you can borrow designer jewelry, and if you like any of the pieces sent to you, you can buy and keep them. It’s a great way to check out new brands that you didn’t know of before, and try before you buy! With my code, makeupbymeghaxoxo you will receive your first month for free! If you guys have tried them out, let me know what you think! Link is down below!
I did something a little dangerous- added two pops of color to the white, as opposed to one. How do you like it?
Another little surprise- a peekaboo back on this top from Zara! I am all about showing a little skin while covering up everything else!
This gorgeous bracelet came in my Rocksbox set too! The stylist absolutely figured out my style through my style quiz and sent me the most perfect items for my personality! You can also add items to your wishlist, and they send you at least one of those items each time! The number of times you use their boxes in one month is up to you!
What I love the most about my Celine phantom bag is that not much of the hardware shows- making it easy to wear with any toned metal
I love the symmetry of this top, and how business-y it looks from the front. And then when you get a glimpse of the back, you see a peekaboo flap!
My absolute favorite item from my Rocksbox! This studded necklace is absolutely my style
Top: Zara, Spain
Jeans: Abercrombie and Fitch
Shoes: Joie, bought during the Nordstrom anniversary sale
Bag: Celine “sun yellow” phantom bag
Hallelujah because I have finally solved the problem of the sideways pictures on my blog! so FINALLY, you will only see pictures the right way up even on your iPhone. I can’t even explain how happy I am!
Today’s look is feminine with a touch of boyish-ness that I so love! I’ve been all about loafers, smoking slippers and espadrilles this summer, so when I came across this cute pair of shoes at Tory I was sold! They’re a tomboy shape with a girly edge because of the color. However, this whole look was built around the bag- this gorgeous Valentino cross body that I borrowed from my cousin.
The denim trend has been going strong now for almost 3 years- so I pulled out an old Abercrombie button down and paired it with this white skirt!
Since this shirt has low cut arm holes, I wore a bright blue bandeau so that it would pop under the light blue top. Now lets talk about this Red Valentino- is it not just gorgeous?! I wasn’t a big cross body bag girl until I borrowed this bag from my cousin- now I can’t wait to get my hands on the right one!
Sorry about how bright this picture came out- But I still wanted to share an action shot!

– Espadrilles: Tory Burch

So here it is- my very first full jumpsuit. I’ve always wanted one, but could never find one that actually fit lengthwise. My sister was here visiting in June and was all about jumpers/rompers etc., and seeing her in them inspired me to actually find one that worked for me! When I came across this one in Fabri’k I was ecstatic because it looked like the length would fit me! However, let me tell you…I am not a floral girl at all, and that was the one part that made me unsure about this romper. Styling it with minimalistic shoes and a bright bag made it wearable for me, and I now love this look!
This jumpsuit has tiny yellow/green/white flowers, so I played with the yellow and added this bag
Bag: Celine “sun yellow” phantom
Bracelets: Kate Spade NY
I was invited to a fun blogger beauty event at The Avalon a few weeks ago, and just had to share my experience with you! The event was by The Cosmetic Market (full service beauty bar with high end makeup retailers within), and they promised champagne- this obviously meant a good time.
From the second I walked in, I could see and feel a stir and buzz in the air, and I loved that! Champagne, white wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and cheese greeted you at the door, and thereafter you could walk around and get acquainted. Various different stations had been set up with complimentary sessions of brow waxing, hair styling, hand exfoliation, and of course, makeup application.
I chose to try out the hand exfoliation as well as hair styling. Mario from Mario’s Hair Designers gave me a lioness do’ and I have to say I’m obsessed. Stay tuned for a blog post in which he will do my hair again for all of you! My friend Natasha from Toto’s Life and Style accompanied me, and we had so much fun! Besides all of the above things I have mentioned, The Cosmetic Market also does facials. All of this while you shop for your favorite beauty products in one place! This is such a cool and novel concept, be sure to check it out in Johns Creek, GA!
Before getting my hair done!
The final product!
Bloggers never travel without their cameras- and therefore, there are always a ton of pictures to be taken!
Kourtney Kardashian definitely inspired me to buy my first pair of knee high gladiators last year- guilty! However, even after having them for so long, I finally pulled them out for the first time just just a few days ago! After buying them, I started feeling a little too dominatrix-y for my liking, so until I figured out how to style them, I wasn’t comfortable wearing them out in public. I decided to go with a peach shift dress and black/gold accessories to style the gladiators, and I loved the look!
I wanted to match the gold hardware on my handbag, so I chose trendy gold jewelry
Dress: ASTR from the Nordstrom Savvy section
Gladiators: Steve Madden also from Nordstrom
Necklace: America’s Mart
thanks for stopping by! Today I’m styling a yellow romper with some wedges to instantly glam up the look. This summer I’ve been all about yellow, and while I normally stay away from a yellow/black combination, I really loved this one! I wore this outfit to an event at The Cosmetic Market at Avalon, and I was so lucky to have my hair done by the incredible Mario from “Mario’s” hair salon in Alpharetta. I asked for a lioness do’ and I absolutely loved what he came up with!
The black wedges made me take out my black Celine!
Normally I find that Rompers can take away curves, but in this ones case, the fabric is so thin that it really flatters as opposed to taking away
The print of the romper has a faded effect, but I kind of dig it! Add a chunky necklace and polka dotted bracelet, and you’re good to go!
A low, tie up back gave this look a cute and whimsical effect because it was a loose fitting outfit
Bracelet- Kate Spade NY
Thanks so much for stopping by! Today I wanted to show you how I wear this cute white lace romper from Topshop. I love rompers, but sometimes I feel like they can really take away any curves I have as well as flatten my rear! While that is the case, they’re definitely still all the rage for summer! This one is a favorite of mine that I picked up in NYC a few years ago- I love its versatility because its actually a romper meant to be worn as a bathing suit cover up.
White is my favorite color to wear all year round, but in the summer especially!
Anytime I feel like I’m losing shape, I add a thin belt to cinch my waist. This is a great trick for all ladies who struggle with this problem!
I love the open armhole of this romper- to me, this detail sets it apart from all the competition!
This belt is an oldie but a goodie! Its going on 6 years now, but is the one I wear most often for sure
Finally my favorite shoes have made their way over to my blog! These lace up brown booties are the perfect spring/summer/fall shoe! And whats more, they’re SO comfortable!
This yellow clutch has been my go to all summer long- its my favorite color at the moment! And white + yellow = summer heaven
Shoes- Dolce Vita
Necklace- America’s Mart
Bracelet: Kate Spade
Today I’m back with another outfit post, this time combining TWO bright colors in one outfit! The more I play around with fashion, I’m realizing that its just about what makes you comfortable, and there isn’t just one “right” way to pair anything. I also show you how to transition a day look into something for the night with just a different pair of shoes. Enjoy!
I’ve never thought I could pull of wedges because my legs are so skinny, but I really liked them with this particular outfit
The black laser cut top helps make the green and yellow pop!
A strappy, sexier heel is the easiest way to transition this look from day to night!
Regardless of the shoes, I chose thin, delicate jewelry so it wouldn’t steal the show from the color pops!
