If you know me, you know I love to learn. I’m always taking classes to enhance my existing skills and learn from more knowledgeable people. That’s why I was so excited about The Makeup Show pop up shop that is coming to ATL this weekend! Besides being able to buy all the popular makeup brands’ products at heavily discounted rates, there are also seminars with top artists in the industry and a few meet and greets with industry leaders. Tickets are available to purchase (and are only $25!) HERE. The show is open to the public! If seminars and shopping isnt enough, you can always take hands on workshops with some of the artists there. There is an additional cost to that, and you can check the event schedule to get class timings.
The show is taking place both Saturday and Sunday from 11-6 and 10-5 respectively, at the Westin Buckhead: 3391 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta, Georgia.
Some of the brands you can look forward to shopping at include: Nars, Becca, Ben Nye, ABH, Skindinavia, Temptu, Makeup Forever, Inglot and more!
Be sure to purchase tickets today while you still can!
My wish has finally been granted. Nars is opening a boutique right here in Atlanta! I was invited to go check it out, and let me tell you, its the most gorgeous makeup boutique I have ever seen! In true Nars style, everything about the store is well thought out, minimalistic, chic, and well put together. I always Continue reading
I have been on the search for a few more long sleeve knit dresses to add to my collection, but its been a lot harder than I imagined! For some reason, the right fit was not available anywhere. Since I worked for Abercrombie and Fitch for so long, I knew their fits would be perfect for me, so I walked into a store and grabbed Continue reading
This week my friends Natasha (Toto’s Life and Style), Alyssa (ATL Bucket List), and I had the opportunity to visit a new restaurant at the Four Seasons Atlanta, Bar Margot. Atlanta’s food scene is blowing up, and I am loving letting all of you know about the best of the best. The name made me think it was just a bar, but the food menu Continue reading
Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am a HUGE foodie. I am the happiest when eating a delicious meal and enjoying some crafty cocktails. I can’t believe I didn’t start this sooner- but from now on I will try to do a weekly restaurant review on a place I have recently visited. I frequent Continue reading
My guilty pleasure has always been destroyed jeans. I love the comfort and the automatic “cool” factor that they instantly deliver, but finding the perfect pair can be difficult. My go to store for them is definitely Abercrombie and Fitch. In general, their jeans have a great fit, and last a really long time! For in between weather like the kind we have in Atlanta right now, Continue reading
This year I finally ventured into wearing warm tones and fell in love with yellow. Its been my absolute favorite, and I didn’t want to give it up for the fall. So I had to come up with a way to make it work! Here is my take on wearing yellow during the colder months- only wear it in SMALL pops! I would not use Continue reading
I recently worked with the beautiful Kelly from Kale Me Kelly to create a wedding guest appropriate look for the wedding she was invited to. Our goal was to keep her face glowing and dewy, and the rest of the makeup to look fresh faced. Mission accomplished! Be sure to Continue reading
The weather here in Atlanta has been hot, cold, and downright, smack dab in the middle. As a result, its almost like you need multiple outfits per day! Here’s an outfit I put together last night that I thought worked well for this in between and I’m confused weather. I tend to feel colder on my arms, so I always like to have a little jacket on me. Here, I paired Continue reading
This fall has been a slow yet quick transition for us here in GA. By that, I mean one day its hot, the next day its cool, and the third day, cold. This makes it tricky to know how to dress, but I’m assuming that in most places the transition is going much more smoothly. Today’s outfit is my version Continue reading
