Adele Purest Possible All Natural Skincare Review

adele-2

Over the last month and a half, I was able to try out an all natural, olive oil based skincare line called Adele Purest Possible. When it comes to skincare, I’ve been more and more careful recently to only try out products that I think will be gentle with my skin and not cause any harm. So when I came across this brand, (and talked to the owners to find out more about it), I was convinced that they use only the most gentle ingredients. Their main ingredient is Continue reading

Atlanta Food: Canoe Brunch

french toast canoe

Now that brunch is a thing here in Atlanta and across the U.S., its time to break down some of the best spots! I discovered Canoe years ago for dinner, and much more than the food, the atmosphere made me want to keep coming back. It’s hard to find such beautiful restaurants here in Atlanta, and Canoe really delivers. It’s on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, and they have patio seating as well as an outdoor bar with limited seating. One of my favorite things Continue reading

Atlanta Food: Eclipse Di Luna

ceviche atlanta

Eclipse Di Luna has a special place in my family’s heart. We discovered this restaurant soon after moving to Atlanta, 17 years ago. We always went there when we wanted a fun meal, and also always took our visitors there. While Atlanta now has so many incredible restaurants, this one fills the need for a well priced and tasty food menu. Its not fancy, but has that sort of rustic imperfection that most restaurants in Spain Continue reading

Knit Dress For a Dinner

DSC04926

I have been on the search for a few more long sleeve knit dresses to add to my collection, but its been a lot harder than I imagined! For some reason, the right fit was not available anywhere. Since I worked for Abercrombie and Fitch for so long, I knew their fits would be perfect for me, so I walked into a store and grabbed Continue reading

Dark Colors for Winter

19_200px

Recently I shot with a new Atlanta based photographer to bring a casual outfit to you guys. I love working with different artists to see their point of view, an I loved how these photos turned out! Today’s outfit is about ease- I love layering for the winter, and it shows you how to do just that also, when you don’t want to wear a normal jacket. I love the Continue reading

Layering For Fall

DSC03977

The weather here in Atlanta has been hot, cold, and downright, smack dab in the middle. As a result, its almost like you need multiple outfits per day! Here’s an outfit I put together last night that I thought worked well for this in between and I’m confused weather. I tend to feel colder on my arms, so I always like to have a little jacket on me. Here, I paired Continue reading

Transitioning Into Fall

DSC03884

This fall has been a slow yet quick transition for us here in GA. By that, I mean one day its hot, the next day its cool, and the third day, cold. This makes it tricky to know how to dress, but I’m assuming that in most places the transition is going much more smoothly. Today’s outfit is my version Continue reading

Cheaper Alternative to Longwear and Transfer Proof Lipsticks! Mood Matcher

I had heard of products like Mood Matcher, but somehow had never tried them out- until now! I got my hands on these quirky and fun products about a month and a half ago, and have been hooked ever since! These lipsticks react to your body temperate to create a custom shade just for you- resulting in different colors for everyone! Each tube is a different and pretty radical color, but once on your lips, changes to look much more acceptable.

My favorite part about these lipsticks is that they are SUPER long wearing and completely transfer proof. On me, they last a good 12-14 hours, and once the sheen is gone, a stain of the original color remains. I never get any stains on glasses that I sip from, either!

There are three different versions of the lipsticks available: the original ($4), which is a conventional lipstick tube made of one color, the split sticks ($6), a lipstick tube with a lipstick that is split in color, and the twist up sticks ($8), which is a luxe version of the original two in a pen like tip and tube. All three are made of the same formula, and they all feel balmy to the touch! There is no stiff feeling to your lips when wearing them, and each color is not opaque, for a more natural look and feel.

These lipsticks are available HERE

IMG_0714This is my favorite one- the orange twist up stick which creates a coral to light pink shade on my lips. I feel like this one looks the most natural on me!

DSC00151In the split sticks, the yellow/blue one is my favorite! When I mix them both together, I get this super dark pink/raspberry color. This one is the most opaque on me (I have no clue why my picture is blurry! It doesn’t look this way on the camera)

All in all, I love these lipsticks for their ease of application and affordable price!
