Its Maxi Season

coral maxi

I’ve mentioned before that wearing bright colors really isn’t my thing. However, in the last few years I have discovered a few brights that really work for my skin tone, and coral is one of them. I picked up this maxi skirt at a random store in Barcelona 2 years ago, and I’ve been in love with it ever since! I usually tend to pair this skirt with something white, black, or both. I know, I know, its just my comfort zone. I find that Continue reading

Knit Dress For a Dinner

DSC04926

I have been on the search for a few more long sleeve knit dresses to add to my collection, but its been a lot harder than I imagined! For some reason, the right fit was not available anywhere. Since I worked for Abercrombie and Fitch for so long, I knew their fits would be perfect for me, so I walked into a store and grabbed Continue reading

Ripped Jeans For In Between Weather

DSC04297

My guilty pleasure has always been destroyed jeans. I love the comfort and the automatic “cool” factor that they instantly deliver, but finding the perfect pair can be difficult. My go to store for them is definitely Abercrombie and Fitch. In general, their jeans have a great fit, and last a really long time! For in between weather like the kind we have in Atlanta right now, Continue reading

Yellow and White, So Bright

DSC03482

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by! Today’s outfit has been one that I’ve been wanting to wear for a long time- I love the loose top and loose skirt look, and wasn’t sure I could carry it off. I got this top from Nasty Gal, and dug deep within my closet for the skirt! This look is so effortlessly chic, I love it! Continue reading

Easy, Breezy, Black

I always gravitate towards black. I always have, and probably always will. I feel like it looks the best on my skin tone, and I feel so much edgier in it! Today’s outfit was inspired by Kourtney Kardashian, and I love it! It’s so simple, and just about anyone can pull it off. We’re sticking to my cardinal rule of fashion here- show a little bit of skin, and cover everything else up. Here, I have an open back paired with ripped jeans.

DSC03323Cobalt blue heels made the black pop, and I love how that specific shade of blue looks on my skin!

DSC03333We all know I love a little bit of edge- thats why I grabbed this studded Jimmy Choo clutch for this look!

Denim and Espadrilles

Hi Everyone!

Hallelujah because I have finally solved the problem of the sideways pictures on my blog! so FINALLY, you will only see pictures the right way up even on your iPhone. I can’t even explain how happy I am!

Today’s look is feminine with a touch of boyish-ness that I so love! I’ve been all about loafers, smoking slippers and espadrilles this summer, so when I came across this cute pair of shoes at Tory I was sold! They’re a tomboy shape with a girly edge because of the color. However, this whole look was built around the bag- this gorgeous Valentino cross body that I borrowed from my cousin.

DSC03020The denim trend has been going strong now for almost 3 years- so I pulled out an old Abercrombie button down and paired it with this white skirt!

DSC03004Since this shirt has low cut arm holes, I wore a bright blue bandeau so that it would pop under the light blue top. Now lets talk about this Red Valentino- is it not just gorgeous?! I wasn’t a big cross body bag girl until I borrowed this bag from my cousin- now I can’t wait to get my hands on the right one!

DSC03009Sorry about how bright this picture came out- But I still wanted to share an action shot!

Beauty and Bubbly at The Cosmetic Market

I was invited to a fun blogger beauty event at The Avalon a few weeks ago, and just had to share my experience with you! The event was by The Cosmetic Market (full service beauty bar with high end makeup retailers within), and they promised champagne- this obviously meant a good time.

From the second I walked in, I  could see and feel a stir and buzz in the air, and I loved that! Champagne, white wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and cheese greeted you at the door, and thereafter you could walk around and get acquainted. Various different stations had been set up with complimentary sessions of brow waxing, hair styling, hand exfoliation, and of course, makeup application.

I chose to try out the hand exfoliation as well as hair styling. Mario from Mario’s Hair Designers gave me a lioness do’ and I have to say I’m obsessed. Stay tuned for a blog post in which he will do my hair again for all of you! My friend Natasha from Toto’s Life and Style accompanied me, and we had so much fun! Besides all of the above things I have mentioned, The Cosmetic Market also does facials. All of this while you shop for your favorite beauty products in one place! This is such a cool and novel concept, be sure to check it out in Johns Creek, GA!
