Transitioning Into Fall

This fall has been a slow yet quick transition for us here in GA. By that, I mean one day its hot, the next day its cool, and the third day, cold. This makes it tricky to know how to dress, but I’m assuming that in most places the transition is going much more smoothly. Today’s outfit is my version
of how to transition into fall with the weather being cool, not cold. I chose a leather skater skirt because leather is the quintessential fall/winter fabric, and its my absolute favorite! I paired the laser cut skirt with a wool sweater just in case it got colder. I’ve always wanted to wear a boxy sweater with a skirt because I love the look, and today was the first time I succeeded in making the look work for me. If its cold where you live, throw on a pair of sheer tights and black booties, and you’re good to go with this look! Necklace and earrings are from Rocksbox, and I’m obsessed! Keeping the necklace for sure. With code “makeupbymeghaxoxo” you will receive 1 month free!

This fall transition look is in collaboration with my close friend and Atlanta based fashion/lifestyle blogger Natasha Kotto from Toto’s Life and Style. Both of us have completely different styles, and we wanted to share our versions of transitioning! Be sure to check out her blog HERE, and her Instagram page HERE to see version of a fall look!

I couldn’t resist, so here’s a sneak peek of her look!
